A well-considered and effectively implemented curriculum is the cornerstone of all that we do in schools.
My work with Heads and senior leaders is focused on evaluating the efficacy and impact of a school’s educational offer, as well as offering insight on areas for potential innovation or further development.
Here are just some of the areas that I can support schools with when it comes to curriculum planning and educational strategy.
Curriculum Reviews
Evaluating whole-school or specific Key Stage curriculum offerings, with focus on impact, cohesion, progress and sustainability.
Innovation
Offering insight and advice regarding potential curriculum innovation or reshaping, while maintaining alignment with school values and ethos.
Enrichment and Super-Curricular
Review and development of enrichment and extra-curricular offerings. Focus on whole-school or approach or provision of specific elements, including university preparation, oracy skills or digital literacy.
Departmental Reviews
Deep dives into specific departments and curriculum areas, or into specific elements of educational provision, for instance pastoral care. Can be undertaken as an external audit or alongside senior leaders to offer quality assurance training and professional development.
